The Bible describes the community of Jesus-followers with several different images. God often refers to His people as the sheep of His pasture. Living as His sheep demands we see our Maker and Provider with eyes of unyielding trust. We all have wandered, as sheep tend to do; but submitting to the voice of the Good Shepherd keeps us in His care.
