Do You Trust God?

I can’t imagine what it must have been like for Ezekiel.

He was a told to preach God’s word to people that would not listen.  He was told not to mourn the loss of his wife.  He was telling the people that God was leaving the Temple, and now He is standing before a valley of dry bones in the vision conveyed to us in Ezekiel 37.

“Son of men, can these bones live?”

This is the question God asks Ezekiel in Ezekiel 37:3.  What would our response be to this question?

Too often Christians look around and see nothing but death and darkness and forget to put their trust in the Almighty God.  Ezekiel answers God by saying, “O Lord God, You know.” We can read the rest of the story: Ezekiel preaches to the bones and God brings up a great army from the bones.

Do you really trust God?  Even during times that you don’t understand what is going on or where things are headed?  Just like Ezekiel was willing to do whatever God told Him, we should want to do the same.

There comes a point in time where we have got to stop living like victims and live like the victors we are.  Our God is in control!  Do you trust Him?
