Bible Classes at the West Mason church of Christ

West Mason offers bible classes for all ages split into 9 groups. 

Toddlers, Preschool, K-1st, 2nd-3rd, 4th-6th, Junior High, High School, Young Adult, and Adult (Auditorium)

Each class is based off of Shaping Hearts cirriculum with unique levels for each age group.

Below is a brief description of each class.

TODDLER CLASS

The toddler class is designed for children who are around 18-36 months old. The class is focused on fun bible-based activites such as songs, coloring, and more while remaining focused on implementing basic biblical knowledge and foundations. 

PRESCHOOL CLASS

The preschool class is designed for kids 3-4 years old. The class continues with the use of biblically sound activities, but begins to teach more biblical foundations to assist the spiritual development of the child.

K-1st CLASS

The K-1st class is desigend for 5-6 year olds. As many kids begin to read in this age range, bibles are distributed for the kids to follow along with the lesson on their own. However, this class maintains the beneficial and biblically sound fun activities enjoyed by the children.

2nd-3rd CLASS

The 2nd-3rd grade class (for 7-9 year olds) is when the kids continue to learn the biblical foundation to further future spiritual growth. Scripture is the basis for everything, as always, and many maps and other more advanced utilites are used by the teachers. Still, activities provide fun for the children.

4th-6th CLASS

In the 4th-6th grade class, biblical truth is continually taught. The kids go through various activities and skits to help relay the message of the lesson presented. Here, the children continue to grow in their scriptural knowledge and ability to use the bible to grow closer to God. 

JUNIOR HIGH CLASS

HIGH SCHOOL CLASS

Currently, the High School and Junior High class is combined into one. The class dives deep into scripture, while allowing all levels to comprehend and benefit from the class. Discussion-based classes are introduced and furthered, as many young people begin to experience more real life conflicts with faith during this age group. This class equips God's children to go into Middle/High School with a firm foundation in Christ.

YOUNG ADULT CLASS

The Young Adult class is designed for young people who are fresh out of High School. This discussion based class is designed to equip young adults with a more firm foundation in biblical truth, sound doctrine, and Godly characteristics as they go into college/workforce.

ADULT CLASS (AUDITORIUM)

The adult class, or the auditorium class, is for all adults to join. The class is generally a study over a specific book of the Bible which progresses as the quarter continues. Each class has insightful comments from the teacher as well as audience participation and comments from other adults.
